Rolling Dice, Pouring Drinks, and Meeting Amazing People

There’s something special about popup events that you just can’t recreate anywhere else.

Over the past several events, we’ve had the chance to meet so many incredible people at Tabletop Elixirs — and honestly, that’s becoming our favorite part of this whole adventure.

Sure, we love making dirty sodas, flavored lemonades, Italian sodas, and all the fun drink combinations that come with them. But what’s really made these events unforgettable has been the conversations, the laughs, the stories, and the genuine excitement people bring when they walk up to the trailer.

We’ve had:

• Families stopping by between games and activities

• Fellow board gamers geeking out over drink names like “Meeple Juice” and “Worker Placement”

• Curious first-timers asking, “Wait… what is a dirty soda?”

• Kids getting excited to customize their own colorful creations

• People coming back later in the day saying, “I had to bring my friend over to try this”

That kind of support means more than you probably realize.

One thing we’ve learned quickly is that popup events are about far more than just selling drinks. They’re about creating little moments people remember. A quick conversation while waiting on a lemonade. A recommendation for someone’s next drink combo. Talking tabletop games, local events, conventions, or even just life for a few minutes.

Those interactions are what make the long prep nights, trailer setup, hauling supplies, and busy weekends worth it.

We’ve also been blown away by how welcoming the local community has been. Every event feels a little bigger than the last, and every time someone shares a post, tells a friend about us, or comes back for another drink, it helps us keep building this crazy dream one event at a time.

And honestly? Seeing people walk away smiling with a drink in hand never gets old.

We’re continuing to experiment with new menu items, seasonal flavors, and event ideas — especially as we lean even harder into the fun, nerdy, tabletop-inspired vibe that makes Tabletop Elixirs what it is.
